AUGUST 2011 LISBON TOUR, DAYS 2&3: SALAMANCA/GUIJUELO/A GUARDA/MONFORTINHO/LISBOA

Crossroading friends on bikes is one of the biggest times in life, and when they come from so far and unknown roads are awaiting the bunch, it’s even better! Running west was wicked fun. Anyone could see that: Guille’s 1978 Primavera, our beloved 1959 Panhead, Vincent’s 1972 Guzzi El Dorado, Juanra’s 1972 R75/5, Mark’s crazy Evo Chopper, Polo’s 1200 Sportster, Loren’s 1200RS & Ivan’s night black Dodge Nitro filled to the roof with Rum, Gin cups & Ice, make a funny crowd!@#$%!! Obviously the 2 dinosaurs (Vincents and mine!!) needed some periodical attention to remain on the pack, but they kept the adventure levels on the rise… After a couple of “nice” ElEcTrOsHoCkS!! (thx to the August’s waterfalls), a few trailer miles and some wrenching, we all made it to Lisboa. RESPECT!
