This is our shop bike & has been around for almost twenty years. Terribly underpowered but indestructible machine.
Built in the wink of an eye, as we faced no pressure for results nor were we looking for a posh finish or complicated technical solutions.
Number 1 premise was to get rid of everything that wasn’t really necessary for safe on/off road trippin and number 2, was to do everything in-house, keeping time and expenses low.
Although confessed admirers of Hunter S. Thompson, the name Gonzo does not come from his attitude journalism, but because of the resemblance of the bike with the great Gonzo from The Muppets.
