Inspired by the myth of Prometheus, who suffered eternal torment for defying the gods, El Solitario Prometeo is not just another custom project. It is a requiem for freedom in a world eagerly surrendering to surveillance, control, and the suffocating promise of mandated safety. Prometeo stands as a symbol of defiance, a last flicker of fire in a time where personal autonomy is being sacrificed to the new gods of algorithmic control and technological dominance. It marks the point of no return in a world that would rather be controlled than free.
As the motorcycling world gathered for the largest motorcycle show on the planet, El Solitario, known for pushing the boundaries of two-wheeled culture, unveiled a powerful new work of art presenting a future of motorcycling in a world of increasingly oppressive safety regulations, that is simultaneously pushing towards autonomous vehicles and virtual ‘experiences’.
Why 2050? That’s the time we believe we have left before Power, in its thirst for absolute control, finishes off our motorcycles and our freedoms. Programs like UE’s Vision Zero are advancing relentlessly, promising us “total safety”. But at what cost? With each passing year, restrictions grow, autonomy shrinks, and we edge closer to a future where motorcycles are mere memories.
Many at EICMA felt the chill of what’s coming. Others, however, will continue choosing not to see it. Thank you to everyone who has joined us here in Milan and to those following from afar. This is a story we will not stop telling

So….. in regards to the whole ‘ Farewell to M/C’s and ICE’s in General ” … I’ve been paying very close attention to the business of motorcycling of late .. especially in light of KTM’s demise and rebirth under Indian ownership … H-D sitting barely a millimeter from the edge of destruction ( oh the debt . oh the mismanagement .. oh the corporate cronyism [ when one sucks up to the current administration hoping for reciprocal favors ] that once again blew up in their faces ) .. ohh the Tariffs .. especially on steel and aluminum … oh .. shit !
And then there’s BMW Motorad’s financial problems .. the fact that most EU branded bikes are no more than brands manufactured and engineered elsewhere … oh hell … I could go on for a lifetime and still barely scratch the goddamn surface …
… the point being … its not the outside influences / trends etc motorcycling needs to worry about … its its now damn arrogance and ego driven stupidity thats kiting it off … handing over the keys for pennies on the dollar to entities that could not care less about motorcycles or motorcyclists … their sole concern being PROFIT … plain and simple … and the sad fact is … all this enshitified Ai , autonomous BS and EV trash ( that creates more problems than it solves .. is to put it bluntly …. DAMN FUCKING CHEAP to make … and even cheaper to sell to clueless customers buying into all there BS .. with Social Media and its owners leading the way down the path of brain dead drone like stupidity .
Which is to say amigos .. though I get what the art .. and applaud ya’ll for at least doing something … the long and short of it is … unless we start dealing with the core of the problem …. the disease will just continue to spread like wildfires in California .
